Displacer, also known as Michael Morton, is a Toronto-based electronic musician who first gained recognition with his track “Deep” on Mute Records’ Pre-Set New Electronic Music in 2003. This caught the attention of M-Tronic Records, where he released three CDs. In 2008, he signed with Tympanik Audio and released three more albums – “The Witching Hour,” “X Was Never Like This…” and “Night Gallery.” In addition to his own music, Displacer has also remixed various artists including Claire Voyant, Architect, and Converter, among others, for labels such as Hymen Records, Ant-Zen, n5MD, and Metropolis Records.
